Quick post: a new firmware (OS 2008 version 1.2007.42-19) upgrade has been released today, it should address some stability problems.
Could it be a prelude to N810 long awaited release? We will see.

Update: as I did with previous release, I upgraded my N800. Everything works fine.
I’ve flashed my n800 with this latest version and here’s a couple things I’ve noticed:
1) It came with xterm pre-installed, so I looked at /proc/cpuinfo and it states 388.2 bogomips
2) The browser is very unstable, crashes often when clicking normal links within a webpage.
3) The sip option has been improved, works better than the beta.
Looks beautiful, much easier to navigate. Thank you Nokia, looking forward to a new extended life cycle for my recently purchased N800.
@Jeff: yes, the N810 CPU is the same used in the N800, it has now a better power management, and thus working @ 400Mhz.
I have no problems with the browser, even on kinda complex sites. Who knows. Is your browser crashing always on the same site/links? Or is a general behaviour?
By the way, thank you for commenting.
