Doh! Just found OS2008 has been silently updated! :)
I’ve just finished flashing my N810 and hunting for changes!

This release fixes the power on (boot) problem only.
If you are not having this issue you may as well keep using the 50-2 firmware.

Hmm, just 259 bytes difference to the old one. Maybe just a patch to something? Kernel?

Mara @ITT reports that this release only fixes a problem while booting on power up which causes trouble to some tableteers.

Right, no other changes have been found.
Being able to know what an update fixes, w/o the pain of flashing/restoring would be nice! Nokia: give us a changelog! :D
